Many major figures in travel therapy will recommend jobs that result in direct referral bonuses through companies that they have contracted with. This can create a monopoly in travel therapy and result in lower-paying contracts by wiping out smaller (and often higher-paying) companies.
By refusing to settle for lower pay, therapists can push for the salaries that we have worked for. This will help to decrease the amount of low-ball contracts in the market. We will also be fully transparent about which companies offer referral bonuses. We post for a few companies that provide no bonus altogether.
